Restaurants and Nightlife

You will notice an abundance of restaurants when you are in Amman and that most of them are full; it is no big secret that Jordanians find eating one of their most favourite pastimes.

Here are a few recommended restaurants and pubs.

Amman

Al Nai
Oriental bar that is decorated in an Ottoman style. Offers oriental mezza (snacks). A live Arabic band plays on the first Thursday of each month for five days only.

A casual restaurant where you can enjoy a good plate of "al dente" pasta or Italian pizza with soft drinks only. They do not serve alcohol in this restaurant.

Located at the centre of the historic residential area of Amman, it is a converted old house redecorated into one of the classiest Arabic restaurants.

Kan Zaman
An old farmhouse from the 19th century converted to a restaurant. Offers local and International dishes. You can find lots of handcraft shops there.

An elegant Italian restaurant located in the Grand Hyatt Amman. You could definitely enjoy a well-prepared Italian meal here with all of its sophistication and charm.

The Cave Bar
