I'm Rosa Garcia Santolaya, and made a tour with Jordan Direct from June24th to July 2nd, together with my mother. I am sure you remember because we went to pay directly to the agency because we wanted to meet you. And I am glad we did.

Although one month has passed, and although we filled up the satisfaction form, I wanted to insist in how satisfactory everything was.

First because of yourself:

I am aware of how litle time we had to prepare it, and how you did everything to try to match our dates. And how many changes I made untill the final desition of dates and number of people.

You organized to match the tour the way we wanted and giving your knowledge advice. And everything was perfect

You did all that always with the best resources available taking in account circumstances, by telephone, by e-mail, by chat.

Most important you did it all showing us your happyness.

Second because of the driver:

I am sure you also remember I asked you for a women driver. And you said you didn´t have any, but would find a good one for us. Well, you did.

He was all the time from the begining very smily and attentive.

He was correct when needed to be correct, and friendly when needed to be friendly.

His english was perfect and we could comunicate with no problem. Al least myself as my mother doesn´t speak english.

He changed and was flexible with the schedule when we requested so.

He was more than helpfull when my mother had to go to the hospital in Petra. He took us there, translated everything, made everything possible, paid the bill in advance.

And finally when we decided we didn´t want to spend the night in Wadirum, he also organised everything in a minute with full satisfaction from my mother!!!!

I would therefore request you to make this letter of thankness arrive to the director or owner from Jordan Direct Tour.

Be sure I will recommend your agency to any people I will know wanting to visit Jordan.

My wife Karen and I booked a week’s tour through Jordan Direct Tours. Jasmine Hamden, the company’s travel representative was most helpful and thorough in suggesting and advising us on the main tour options and highlights for a spectacular Jordan tour. The bookings were made via email and were at a tremendous price.

All bookings and arrangements were professionally made and carried out by Jordan Direct Tours. We were meet upon landing at Amman Airport, assisted with our baggage, customs etcetera and introduced to Mohommad Ezzat, our driver for the week. Efficient friendly arrangements at the end of the trip made the stay memorable.

All accommodation was booked and tourist attraction tickets made available. Hotels were of a high quality and offered excellent facilities.

Mohommad was friendly, most courteous and provided a splendid commentary on our travels. Additional places we could visit, shop and stops for photo opportunities were wonderful little extras provided by our driver.

He made many suggestions and provided splendid service with a vast knowledge and understanding of his fascinating home land Jordan: its heritage, history, geography, culture and unique places to eat.

We travelled to six Arabic countries on an extended trip and were most impressed by the friendly, peaceful and great Jordanian people and the nation.

We highly recommend you make a visit to Jordan and make use of the professional, friendly and efficient services of Jordan Direct Tours and Mohommad, or their designated selected drivers.

Dear Jasmine,

Finally home after all holiday and business travel I would like you to give you our feedback about our vacation in Jordan with Jordan Direct.

My wife and me really appreciate great work done by Jordan Direct team.

The plan you prepared worked out extremely well and Talal was a great guide. He was more of host than a driver: always very attentive, punctual and knowledable.

We really felt respected and welcomed guests rather tourists.

All destinations: Jerash, Dead Sea, Madaba, Kerak, Petra, night at Wadi Rum and Aqaba were great and looking back I would say that the plan was excellent and won't change anything if planning this trip again. Guides and all other staff involved from meeting us at airport till our departure did perfect job. I have not a slightest complain on anyone performance.

It was excellent! As we have been in +50 countries around the globe we can compare.

Beyond Jordan Direct we have admired Jordan and its people. We loved Jordan do much that we keep promoting it among our friends and colleagues.

The only non-exciting experience was Kempinski Dead Sea. The hotel location, design and the outlook is great, but the service is far from 5* level. Obviously, lack of training and managerial control over staff.

Kempinski Aqaba was opposite - really well managed.

Other locations did fully match our expectation:

Le Meredien Amman - fair city hotel with a great Lebanese restaurant downstairs

Movenpick Petra - excellent location and perfect service

Wadi Rum Desert Camp was despite our expectations was really good. Just need to realize that camp is camp.

Jordan was paradise for my as a photographer. Some pics are attached for your reference.

On a side note upon request of my wife I would like to express our very positive surprise with handicraft and Dead Sea cosmetics shops.

Traditionally we consider these "tourist traps" to be mid- or low-quality places with overpriced products. That's true for almost every country, but Jordan turned out to be an exception.

Now we understand, that our guide, Talal did direct us to the right places.

Numerous Dead Sea products my wife bought in Amman vicinity are excellent.

She is always extremely happy with a big 30 kgs stone mosaic she bought in Madaba mosaic handicraft center. The mosaic we have selected was shipped in time and arrived intact.

Really appreciate the job done by you and all Jordan Direct team.

Please feel free to use this feedback or my photos for JD advertising purposes.

If needed, I would be happy to my feedback about JD performance to anyone directly.

Would be happy to give JD a direct recommendation to any Russian potential tourist.

Dear Lamees,

We would like to express our thanks to you and everybody involved with our trip to Jordan.

From the initial greeting and help at the Airport and return assistance there, through the days we spent with our driver, Emad, the Jordan Tourist Department guides and our jeep driver at Wadi Rum, everything went exceedingly well and we found all the people involved to be extremely helpful and accommodating. We were also very impressed by the English language skills of everyone we came into contact with.

Your choice of hotels for us was excellent and we particularly enjoyed the local style buildings and layout of the Taybet Zaman Resort at Petra.

We cannot praise Emad enough. His driving was faultless, particularly when we were in the rain mist/fog when leaving Petra. He was always considerate to our comfort whilst driving, very helpful at, and made good choices for rest stops and meal breaks. He made start times/ meetings times as flexible as our personal preferences would permit and no occasional changes were too much trouble for him. He as particularly helpful when one of your Jordan Banks "swallowed" one of our cash cards!

I am sure you are very pleased to have him associated with your firm and we are certain you can justifiably consider him to be your "top man".

Your combined efforts certainly made our trip a wonderful and enjoyable experience and we will certainly recommend a Jordan holiday to our Cyprus and UK friends and your company in particular in that regard.

Hi Jasmine,

sorry for the late in writing but I was very busy during my first two days at work after my Jordan holidays.

We want to thank you very much for our 15 days scheduling and arrangement.

We really enjoined very much our Jordan holidays.

We have only two little remarks:

1. in Petra we booked the horse riding and the guide said us that we might have the ride going in or coming out and that he preferred we'd have it coming out because going in he wanted to explain us a lot of things. We said ok but, while going in, he gave the ticket to someone and so when we went out we had not the ticket and we cannot have the horse riding.

2. in Wadi Rum it was scheduled a desert tripo on a 4x4 vehicle for 3 hours bau our 4x4 driver did drive only 2 hours.

These two little toubles were partially solved by a short camel riding that we enjoined very much.

We also know that these troubles didn't depend on you so, at last, no problem but I wanted to point out them in order to give you the possibility of claiming, if you want.

But now let's forget the two little trubles and let we then you verymuch for everything: the sceduling of the tour, the hotels you chose for us (in particular the Kempinski at the Dead Sea), the assistance at the airport while arriving in Amman and while going home.

Really, everything was ok and we staied very very well.

A particular thanks for the choice of our driver! Esam was wonderful: always on time, prudent in driving, very kind and helpful, he aleays had an answer to all our questions. In one word i can say "perfect".

He was a friend, more than a driver, for us.

We enjoined everything: the jordan sites we visited, the jordan nature, the jordan hotels, the jordan people and also the jordan food.

Thank you so much one more time and we hope to come back soon.

Firstly we were very satisfied with your personal assistance to finalise the booking.

We were very reliably met at the airport by your representative on arrival and departure and the assistance was very capable and professional.

Your driver Ayman was very capable, knowlegeable and courteous and we were highly satisfied with his assistance.

The Hotel bookings, booking at Haret Djoudna and entry to the sites went completely smoothly.

The guide at Petra, Mr Ahmad was very knowledgeable and had an impressive understandng of the whole regioal history of the time of the Nabateans.

We recently returned from my fantastic vacation in Jordan, made possible by you and your team at Jordan Direct Tours. From our arrival at the airport till our departure, we have met nothing but friendly people who made our stay so enjoyable and memorable. We would love to return to Jordan again sometime in future and will not hesitate to recommend JD tours to all our friends and relatives!

The itinerary covered all aspects of Jordan, from the deserts to the Dead and Red Seas. Everything went smoothly during the holiday as well thanks to the efficiency of your company as well as Talal, who went beyond his duties as driver to be our cameraman, guide, translator, and facilitator.

I have attached some photos from the more memorable aspects of our tour. We have so many more photographs from the trip; if you would like any specific ones we can always send to you as well.

Dear Jasmin:

We got back from our trip to Israel, Jordan and Egypt, last week. I can say without exaggeration, that it was the trip of a lifetime!.

Thank you so much for all the ways in which you helped to make our trip an enjoyable experience. You were prompt, efficient and set up an itinerary that worked beautifully. Everything went without a hitch, and all of the arrangements were of the highest quality, and show cased your amazxing country admirably.

We have been telling out friends about our trip and have passed on your contact information to several of them. I know that you will be hearing from some of them, and I know that they will have a wonderful trip to Jordan, if they work with your company.

I would like to give a special mention to Emad, our guide, who accompanied us. I must tell you that he was the best guide we had on our entire trip. He was knowledgeable, thoughtful and very organized. While he kept to the itinerary that we had set, as we travelled he was flexible, and went out of his way meet our requests. He was unfailingly courteous and considerate. The car, too, was so commfortable, and we travelled in style. He serves as a terrific ambassador to Jordan...and I am sure you know that he is real asset to your company.

I do not have his contact information, but I would really appreciate it if you would pass on our reagrds and appreciation to him. He truly made our trip a memorable one, and we feel as though between you and Emad, we now have friends in Jordan. My husband and I are thinking about coming back again, since we realize we only touched the surface of your beautiful country.

I have finally caught up w/ the many things that needed to be done at home while we were in Jordan, so I would like to take this opportunity now to let you know about our trip to your great country...

First, I would like to THANK YOU profusely for your wonderful assistance in tending to all of the details that honestly helped us have a "trip of a lifetime" this past month. Everything went so smoothly, and everything was just as you and I had agreed to in our emails.

It is really important to tell you just how fantastic our driver Ibrahim was to us and throughout the entire 12 days - we could not have ever found a better person. He went above our expectations daily...always having cold water available, always stopping to show us a particular view, always checking us into our accommodations to be certain we had the best room and no problem. He always arrived well before our agreed upon meeting time with a smile on his face, enthusiastic and ready to see the next place. At his suggestion we went to Qasyr al Amra (?) - the amazing ruins built of enormous blocks of stone - which are, actually, one of my personal highlights of the trip. It was Ibrahim that arranged for us to have "Hani" as our personal guide in Petra on our first full day there...and it certainly made t he entire visit incredible as it was Hani that arranged for the specific Bedouins to take us to the Monastery Site one day, and up to the High Place of Sacrifices on the next. I am certain that we were able to see and appreciate Petra much more than most visitors because of Ibrahim's contacting Hani. Ibrahim also shared many helpful tips - shops to visit, cafes with delicious food, etc. - and answered each and every question (and I had many about what we were seeing as we drove along, history, social customs, etc.) with genuine interest. He was, as he often says, "amazing!". The van, itself was very comfortable and the perfect size for us.

All of our accommodations were terrific - the rooms clean, the staffs all attentive and caring. Personally, knowing what i know now, i would have stayed at the Movenpick in Petra instead of the Crowne Plaza. They are the same distance from the main Petra gate, and I think the Movenpick is more modern. The Crowne Plaza, while perfectly fine and with a really nice staff, could use some updating/renovation visually. But, for us it was perfectly fine - no complaints.

The tours/guides were also really great! I was leery of the entire Dana Nature Reserve experience and it has been one of the places I love the most! Our guide there was really wonderful during our morn ing hike...and, I think the best breakfast the entire time was at Dana!! We really loved it there. The 2 excursions at Wadi Rum were also really good - especially the 4x4 sunset trip. Our guide was really fun and did a great job making bedouin tea from a bush he plucked from the sand as we were driving around. He also stopped at a bedouin tent to deliver water - this was very interesting, and made me really happy that I was staying at Bait Ali!!!!

Also...we REALLY appreciated the assistance your representative provided at the airport for our departure. It made us feel like VIPs being whisked past lines!

I am back in Moscow. Thinking back on last week, I can truly say that I have spent a wonderful holiday in Jordan.

Ever since our first contact back in January, I had a good feeling about this trip: you were extremely fast and efficient in making me an offer I could not refuse. Upon arrival, Fahdi greatly facilitated my entry into the country and Samir had all the promise of combining with ease the multiple task of being a good driver, bodyguard, guide and intelligent conversation partner. Throughout the trip, Samir was a gentleman genuinely concerned about my well-being and always ready with the right suggestions to make my trip as cozy and convenient as possible. Upon departure, I was pleased to be met by your representative with my boarding pass ready, relieving me of the need to queue before the check-in counter.

Dear Lamees,

I am writing to tell you that we had a fantastic time in Jordan! Everything was really great, we loved the Dead Sea with its strange swiming experience and the spa procedures at Marriott, Petra was simply abreath taking and Wadi Rum so impressive that we regretted not staying there overnight. I also wanted to thank for the guide Samir (please pass to him our gratitude and best wishes), he was punctual, with a superb sense of fun, ready to accomodate our wishes and full of stories and information. The hotels were great, except for the Petra hotel that, we thought, didn't quite live up to the 5 stars it boasted, but it was more than enough compensated by Petra itself and by the superb local food we sampled at a restaurant at Samir's suggestion.

Thanks a million again and be sure that we will be recommening our friends to contact you in case they decided to travel to Jordan.

We have now been home just over a week and unfortunately we both had fairly bad colds on our return and have been recuperating. This is just a short note to thank you for arranging our wonderful tour in Jordan. It was absolutely fantastic and well beyond our expectations. The hotels and service were all great and thanks for choosing them for us. Our tours and sightseeing were perfect and Petra was just out of this world. The tour though was made by our driver Talal who went beyond his duties to accommodate us and make our visit to Jordan unforgettable. He is a kind and wonderful man full of compassion, understanding and great love for his country. What a wonderful ambassador for your company and Jordan. We will certainly recommend your company and Talal to our friends both in and out of the travel industry. I am in the process now of doing a report to Harvey World Travel. Can you please thank Talal personally and tell him we will keep in touch with him and his family. We would also like to thank Raed Zyhoul who came out late PM with Talal on our departure day to assist with our airport departure procedures ( I am sure he had better things to do!!).

Hello Jasmine,

We are back now in Abu Dhabi after an amazing holiday in Jordan. many thanks for your tour company for arranging such a fantastic trip . The iternary was just perfect and our driver guide was simply the best ever and thanks to him we really got to see the whole of Jordan in its splendor with attention to detail , timings , flexibility and knowledge , such a gentleman.

The guides on all the sites were truly enjoyable characters who not only were very knowledgeable but also had us in fits of laughter with their infectious sense of humor . The weather was superb in all areas and the people so hospitable and friendly .

The meet and greet at the airports arriving and departing were always on time and very courteous and we had no problems at all with the check-ins and immigration the service was excellent. The hotels were fabulous that you booked for us but might have preferred a choice of two different ones rather than the same one for the three nights booked there, especially on the last night.

We thank you all so much for a truly unforgettable experience and will definitely recommend this tour to our many friends here in Abu Dhabi who are also keen to visit.

Our driver, Talal, was very helpful, he had very good English skills, and he explained things very well (he was almost like a guide instead of just being the driver). He tried to give us the best advises also for my pregnant wife. He gave us good suggestions (e.g. about food, souvenirs), and he let us to decide on our own. thanks also for your efforts to get upgrades in hotels as this was our honeymoon trip, and the upgrade to Meridien on the last day. Overall, we enjoyed the trip to Jordan very much and appreciated your services, and we will definitely make recommendations about your organization.

Hello Lamees,

First thank you for an excellent tour. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in Jordon. You live in an amazing country that is filled with happy, positive and accomodating people. We have placed Jordan high on our world travel experiences and will share this with friends and family.

Second, I am very interested in coming back to Jordan, as a central location, from which to travel north to Syria, and then west to Israel. Tentatively, the dates I would be able to come for this tour are from September 18 - September 27, or te following week. This would be a ten day hiliday. We would fly in and out of Amman via the same flights we travlled this past week.

Can you please put together a suggestion for a package that includes a.) the highlihts of Syria over 3-4 days and then b.) the highlights of Israel over the following 3-4 days. In Israel, I am interested in the Christian sights. in Syria, I'm interested in the primary sights.

We would like Ibrahem as our driver in Syria and the person who takes us to the Israeli border and picks us up to and from the connecting tour you arrange for us there.

We want to move fast and see much. No need to give us down time like we had in Aquaba, say for example, in Israel. Nothing in Israel can match the loveliness of Aquaba.

Now that I have returned from all of my travels, I wanted to take the time to thank you for a wonderful experience in Jordan. My friend and I had a wonderful time and are so appreciative off all the work you and your company did to make the trip so perfect. We owe special thanks to Talal for being so helpful and kind. We really enjoyed getting to know him. Please let him know how grateful we are!

I had one thought that I wanted to share with you. Our first night we went to a private camp in Wadi Rum and had a fantastic evening (and the best meal of our whole trip!) with Abdullah. He was very kind and made us feel so welcome. My only friendly suggestion is that you warn 2 young single women that they will be alone in the middle of the desert with men they have only just met. We assumed we would be in a public camp with other people, so we were a bit surprised to realize we were the only ones there. Again, Abdullah was wonderful. But we would have appreciated some warning before we went out there!

Again, thank you for everything. My friend and I will be sure to recomend you to anybody that is planning a trip to Jordan!

I just had to write and tell you how special my November trip to Jordan was. You arranged such fine hotels and the very best sights/sites to see. I truly adore Jordan.

My truly special time would not have been possible without my special driver, AWNI and my wonderful Petra guide, ALI .

Awni was special in that he loves Jordan and he loves life (as do I) and he was ready to vary any route, to see any shop and to negotiate pricing for me, to buy fruit and to be a friend on my journey; any and all of these qualities make him very special. I would recommend his services to everyone. He is a pleasure to be around.

Ali is so very genuine and so incredibly hard working. My trip into Petra with him was incredible. He loves what he does and he has such verve for life. He made my day so very special; just being around him makes me love Jordan more. We had a most special day.

They both are at the top of their field.

Again, please know that I so value each of you, and I highly recommend all of your services to all that I meet, particularly when I show my pictures of my trip.

My wife Ket and I returned to Australia last Sunday 28 Dec after spending a few days in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and after we left Jordan on the 21 Dec. We had such a memorable time in Jordan that we will never forget you and all that wonderful experiences for the rest of our life. I returned to work last Monday but my thoughts keep going back to Jordan and our great driver and friend and the way the tour was so well organised and professionally run.Thank Lamees and Khalid as well for all their help. Dear Elin,

On behalf of myself and Donna I would like to express our gratitude to all who made our visit to Jordan such an interesting and memorable experience. We stood in awe at the many beautiful places we visited. Although the visit was short (too short we now realise) Talal made sure that we were always on time to get to see as much as possible in the short time available. We found him to be an accomplished driver. A special thank you for accommodating our request to visit Jerash although it was not in our initial plans.

After a long day in Petra we were too tired and the weather too cold to attend the "Petra by Night" event and again Talal took care of our cancellation and we acknowledge the return of 24 Dinars in lieu of the cancelled tickets. Our guide in Petra, Amin, has to be complimented on his excellent English and guidance to this wonderful sight.

We have the following suggestions:

* The Holiday Inn at the Dead Sea should develop into a prime destination once all amenities are completed. At the moment the access to the beach is not up to standard with the rest of the hotel. They also need to improve the information provided to guests - we wasted precious time to get a directory and information about the amenities. We have commented on this in our evaluation of the hotel and hope that they will use the information to improve their services.

We will definitely recommend your service to friends and family and hope to return ourselves one day.

We would like to thank you for the absolutely wonderful tour to Jordan.
From the moment that we stepped off the plane, we were welcomed by your company's representatives, taken through all the formalities and then the cherry on top - were booked into the premier suite of the Meridien hotel !
We were overwhelmed and actually thought that they had us confused with members of a Royal family!
I have to mention Mansour, (What a great guy!) who became our friend during the 8 days.
He was just so professional, yet kind and friendly, making us feel welcome and comfortable.
I will certainly recommend you and your company to friends and relatives, and we definitely plan to return next year.
Regarding the hotels - they were all good (especially the Meridien) but the Movenpick (Dead Sea) are definitely in a different class and we think it deserves 6 stars!
This was definitely our best holiday ever, in the most beautiful and friendly country.

From the moment that we stepped off the plane, we were welcomed by your company's representatives, taken through all the formalities and then the cherry on top - were booked into the premier suite of the Meridien hotel !

We’re back from Jordan and it was a great journey … Just to inform you about our driver Louai, he was very professional, punctual and a very kind, patient and interesting person. He drove carefully and explain us some details all along the trip, even when there was no stop. We particularly like the short visit of Amman for 2 hours, before to leave on time. The van was clean and perfect for 4 adults and 4 child. Local guides were although very nice and professional, especially the one from Petra.

In Petra, we were a little bit disappointed when the horse riders asked always more money (2 JD per horse = 8 horses), although it is included in the entrance package…

Te escribo solo para darte las gracias y comentarte que el viaje ha salido estupendamente. Nos ha gustado mucho Jordania, la organización ha sido impecable y nuestro guía era un muchacho encantador y muy buen profesional. El chofer también, siempre han sido puntuales amables y cumplidores. La asistencia en el aeropuerto por Raed fue magnífica ya que tanto a la ida como a la vuelta nos lo facilitó todo un montón.

Recomendaremos totalmente vuestros servicios a nuestros amigos cuando vayan a viajar a Jordania.

Lo único que nos pareció peor fue el Marriot de Petra. Eso evidentemente no es vuestra culpa pero el personal del hotel es antipático e incompetente. Muchos fallos en el servicio y la verdad es que no es lógico que en un hotel de esa categoría falle el servicio, y además los baños están sucios y destartalados. Eso sin ser vuestra responsabilidad puede salpicaros negativamente lo que es una pena con lo bien que lo organizáis todo. Sin embargo Le Meridien de Amman era mucho mejor en todos los aspectos.

Pues nada más, solo quería darte las gracias.

Dear Ms Jasmine Hamdan,

Just to let you know that we arrived back home in Ottawa safe and sound after a most enjoyable and interesting tour of Jordan.

Your itinerary and choice of hotels were excellent and we were well received at all particularly the Kempinski at the Dead Sea.

Akram besides being a very good and careful driver looked after our needs and ensured we were booked into our hotels and met up with our guides. He was very knowledgeable of the points of interest on our route and gave us ample time at the various sites visited without a guide to walk around and take photographs.

I would add that the guide at Petra was particularly good in fact giving us some six hours of his time allowing us to have a very good overview and appreciation of Petra.

All in all a most successful, memorable and enjoyable tour and would certainly recommend JD Tours to anyone wishing to have an independent tour of Jordan.

I am now safely home again after a short stay in London on my return journey and would like to thank you for the excellent arrangements. I had a wonderful time in Jordan. (Just a suggestion. For future travellers a suggestion on minimum tipping would be helpful. Generous people will always tip more and stingy people will know what the lower limit is and hopefully not undertip. If you don't mind, could you please send me a guideline of what an acceptable tip would have been for my driver. I think that most people would use a guideline of 10 %, however this does differ from country to country.)

I visited Syria the week we left Sharjah! It took me 3 hours to get through immigration - the taxi driver could not find our hotel and threw our case into the street and drove off! Not nearly as friendly as Jordan!

Dear Manar,

About one week has passed since we got back to reality again.

We are still overwhelmed by the fantastic arrangements you have created for us five. The journey became to an amazing adventure.Everything was so well arranged by you. We were met like VIP:s at the airport and was driven by the very,very nice Mohammad, who we had the pleasure to met once again when he drow us to Damascus. The day after our arrival we met the lovely Emad who took us further on. He was very concerning and openminded ,asked us all the time if we had any special wishes and gladly effected them if we had any. He was not only the talented driver he was our guide also during the trip south and fullfilled that task very well.

We also recommend the very nice guide we had at Petra. He was interested enough to learn our names, which is not very usual.

As we arrived in Syria Yaseen Allatif met us at the border. He assisted us through the border formalities and welcomed us to Syria with gifts and maps to us all. Then he accompanied us the whole way trough Syria and all the places we planned to see. He was a wonderful man, extremely talented in telling us all about the old places and the new Syria. He was really a perfect guide and a very nice companion. He escorted us to and inside the airport in Damascus, very concerning. We really recommend him to be used for other tourists. Please transfer our information to the Syrian Travel agency. In Syria the driver was Ahmad, who patiently waited for us in many places. He was also very nice although a bit absent in his mind, thinking of his newborn child 2 days before we met him. Despite this he fullfilled his mission with skilled driving and a good humour.

The journey has really lived up to our expectations except one thing. That was the accommodation, which exseeded all our expectations. From the wonderful rooms in Amman and Petra "Guest House", the latter not at all a guest house but a luxorious hotel perfectly situated and comfortable , to the amazing hotels in Damascus and Aleppo as taken from Thousand and one Night!! We have never in our lives stayed at any hotel like these, with such an athmosphere from the 17th century and stylish decoration. We were so happy and talked many times about the wonderful Manar who had arranged it. So the accommodation was really one of the greatest highlights on our journey!

We will also remember all kindness, friendliness and concern from everybody we met both in Jordan and Syria. I hope we can pay a new visit to this region some time in the future. I will also tell you that we have really recommended your agency and specially you to our friends. Many are very interested to go, some of them very seriously.

Now we have our memories left and all the pictures and a video, which I have started to edit.

We all wish you good luck in the future and bring you a deep gratefulness!

I was in contact with Ms. Jasmine Hamdan, who I found to be helpful and professional and who went to a lot of trouble to ensure that we got the accommodation that we wanted, even during the High Season. I also liked the fact that we were able to make the payment on arrival in Jordan as obviously quite a large sum of money was involved and it would have been a risk for us to pay in advance. I also liked the fact that the hotels were listed in advance so that I could check their websites and customer feedback on other information websites.

Airport help.

Mr. Fatih was a perfect gentleman who took great care of us on arrival in Jordan and at the time of our Departure.

Hotels

Canyon Boutique Hotel.

Comfortable modern hotel with a choice of two restaurants. Close to an excellent supermarket and other restaurants (with a little exploration).

Beds and pillows of excellent standard plus top-class air conditioning.

Best of all, when I was taken ill in the hotel they let me check out at 10pm and checked on how I was during the day.

Petra Palace Hotel

Reasonably comfortable hotel with poor pillows but other comforts adequate.

Close to a good selection of restaurants. Extremely close to the entrance to Petra.

Aqaba Resort Hotel

A high quality new hotel with nice facilities, excellent rooms, very friendly staff and close to the beach.

Dead Sea Spa Resort

A comfortable place to stay with decent facilities but poor air conditioning.

Driver: Nage

Very helpful with a good sense of humour. Never tried to make us buy any type of souveneirs that we were not interested in and did his best to help with any queries that we had. Was happy to wait for as long as we took at the various sites and we appreciated his patience.

Tour guides. Varied in quality in terms of their knowledge of the monuments that they guided on but were generally very helpful. The gentleman that guided us in Petra was particularly good.

Suggestions to make the guest experience even better Perhaps a short guide to the facilities close to the hotels/in the cities that patrons of JD Tours are staying could be provided.

We are now back in Cyprus and I want to thank you very much for the really enjoyable and fantastic experience we just had in Jordan. What an amazing country so rich in culture and diversity.

However by way of feedback we did not think the guides in Jerash or Petra were very good - in fact they were very poor both in terms of quality and value. They both appeared rushed and quite disinteressed and did not give much information about the sites despite both beeing recommended by our driver.

But we did like everything else, so much so that we will be planning another trip in the next two years to see the parts we have not been able to visit. All the hotels we stayed were really good (especially the Kempiski in the Dead Sea).

Many thanks again and we will contact in the near future. In the meantime I will give your details to people here in Cyprus who are planning a trip next spring but please make sure that the local guides are knowledgeable and interested in their job! (to give you an exemple we had somebody in Bethany who was absolutely amazing).

We have just returned from a fantastic visit to your lovely country.

Our driver, Ali, was attentive, helpful and knowledgeable and throughout the three days we spent with him we found out lots of interesting facts about Jordan. The highlight for us was our visit to Petra, where our guide showed us the sights of this fascinating ancient city. We have taken away some wonderful memories - horse riding down the Siq towards the Treasury, cooking our supper in the Petra Kitchen (we even bought the ingredients and enjoyed a Jordanian meal on our return) and buying our lovely jewellery to remind us of our time in Jordan.

We arrived back home yesterday after a wonderful trip to Jordan/Petra and I would like to say thank you to yourself and to all your team at Jordan Direct for the very efficient way the whole trip was organised. I would like to say a special "thank you" to our driver Bader who went out of his way to help us and we both thoroughly enjoyed his company.

Our only complaint is regarding the hotel the "Amman Inn". The service was poor - we only had one set of towels and no pillow cases on the pillows. I had to ring and ask for these .

However, apart from the above we really enjoyed the trip and would not hesitate to recommend your company to anyone interesting in visiting Jordan.

The program that you armed was excellent and we had no problem. Guides and drivers, were also excellent in the four countries. Hotels were perfect for us. Venezia hotel, in Damasco, is very old and dark, though It was good for us, but if you send more exigent passengers, you may have claims. I comment you all these facts, only because I suppose they may help you. We supposed to have some difficulties in borders crossing, but there was no one. Really Jordan-Sirian and Sirian-Lebanon borders are very confusing, specially not understanding your language, because nobody speaks english, and in certain moments we are alone. Really we were surprised and pleased, when we met one of your colleages at the airport, to help us, and to receive our impression of your services. Do not doubt that we were all very satisfied with everything, and we'll recommend our friends your agency, if going there.

We managed to see Bosra on Friday. It was a bit hectic, since it was quite a few extra miles we had to do, but Chamtours decided to compensate us with an upgrade for the room and Ramadan-dinner at the hotel on Saturday night for the misshappening and we were happy with that.

We will let our friends know of our experience and will not hesitate to recommend your sevices.

As promised herewith our comments on our trip.

According to Lika was it the nicest holiday in her life !

The accomodation in all the hotels is very well; a recommendation for people who want to pay some extra.

(Dinner in Hotel Geneva is not to be advised; better to follow Talal's advise and go to Reem al Bawadi)

We enjoyed much the company of Talal; not just a good guide, but also flexible and a nice partner in discussions.

Please give him our best regards and thank him another time for being our guide and companien during or stay in Jordan.

just a quick note to say thank you for organising the holiday to Syria and Petra. My mother and I had a truly wonderful time - Syria is as interesting and stimulating as Jordan. And Mahomed was a great driver, a very intelligent man and we enjoyed our conversations with him.
