See some of the world’s most impressive sights on this private 6-days tour of Jordan, including five nights of accommodations. Ride a 4×4 through the Wadi Rum desert valley, swim in the Dead Sea, and visit Amman Roman theatre, the Citadel and the Umayyad Palace. Discover ancient civilizations from the Roman Empire at  Jerash. Along the way, stop by Mt. Nebo, Kerak Castle, Madaba’s Church of St. George, and the ancient Nabataean city of Petra.

Itinerary

Day 1, Arrival Amman

Upon arrival, a member of our staff will meet you at Queen Alia International Airport. Transfer to hotel in Amman. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2, Amman City Tour/ Jerash/ Amman

Breakfast. Departure to visit the ruins of the Amman Roman theatre, the Citadel and the Umayyad Palace. The tour includes visits to the Archaeological and Folklore Museums. Free time for walking/shopping in the old down town area of the city. Proceed to visit the Greco-Roman City of Jerash, also known as the City of the thousand columns. Jerash showcases the grandeur of Imperial Rome (and is sometimes referred to as the Pompeii of the East). It is considered one of the largest, and most well preserved sites of Roman architecture in the World outside Italy. As the most pristine Decapolis City (meaning ten cities in Greek) in the modern world, Jerash’s  prosperity can be admired in the colonnaded main street and lovely Oval Piazza. Transfer back to Amman. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2, Amman City Tour/ Jerash/ Amman picture

Day 3, Amman/ Wadi Rum

Breakfast. Transfer south to Wadi Rum, Jordan’s largest desert and one of the most spectacular desert landscapes in the world. Jeep Tour inside the Wadi until sunset. Watch the view while drinking a cup of traditional Bedouin tea and transfer to the camp area. Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 4, Wadi Rum/ Petra Visit

Breakfast. . Morning departure to Petra for a full day visit of the city. We will start our journey to explore Petra, aptly described as the “rose-red city, half as old as time”. The ancient city was founded by the Nabateans 2000 years ago. Its massive architectural structure and its multicolored stones are an incredible attraction. The visit of the ancient Nabatean capital starts on horseback, followed by a walk through the Siq, a long narrow fissure between two overhanging cliffs. Towards the end of the Siq, you will be spellbound by Petra’s most famous monument; the Treasury. The tour then proceeds to gradually unfold the mysteries of the city. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5, Petra/ Madaba/ Mt. Nebo/ Dead Sea

Breakfast. Visit the Christian Town of Madaba, which is known as ‘The City of Mosaics’. You will be visiting the St. George Greek Orthodox Church, where you will see the masterpiece of Madaba (a Byzantine mosaic map of the Holy Land that goes back to the 6th century, showing Jerusalem and other cities), you will also visit the Archaeological Park, which houses the remains of several Byzantine churches, including the amazing mosaics of the Church of the Virgin. The park complex includes a school for the restoration and conservation of ancient mosaics. We will then go to Mt. Nebo, which is considered to be one of the most important holy sites in Jordan, as it is believed to be the place where Moses climbed from the Valley of Moab, and from where God showed him the Promised Land, as well as Moses’ last resting place. It features ruins from the 4th to the 6th century with marvelous mosaics adorning the grounds of the church still visible. Depart to the Dead Sea. Free time at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

  • Free visa- please send us the completed passport list prior to arrival
  • Transfer as per above itinerary in a private modern air-conditioned large sized car with an English speaking driver (car is not at disposal after the day tour ends, your driver is not a guide).
  • Car has complimentary Wi-Fi and mineral water, you will also be supplied with a local mobile phone.
  • Accommodation at hotels on BB basis at (Amman& Petra & Dead Sea) and on HB basis at (Wadi Rum).

  • Tour inside the desert of Wadi Rum in a 4×4 vehicle for 3 hours.

  • Private tour of Petra with a local guide (tour length is 2 hours, and covers the lower parts of Petra).
  • Entrance fees to all sites as per the above itinerary.
